The Great Britain Day Visits Survey (GBDVS) measures the volume, value and trip characteristics of tourism day visits in Britain. The figures represent 3-year rolling averages.
In 2018, Aberdeen City experienced a 19% increase in Day Visitor Spend, Aberdeenshire (excluding the City) experienced a 2% increase in Day Visitor Spend, resulting in an overall regional increase of 12%.
