Length of Stay by Overseas Visitors to Grampian 2017
This data is drawn from the International Passenger Survey (IPS), a continuous survey carried out by the Office for National Statistics (ONS). It covers all major air, sea and tunnel ports, providing detailed information on the numbers and types of visits made by people travelling to and from the UK.
The results illustrate a clear spread across length of stay categories and suggests there is a good product range and experiences for visitors to get involved in when here.
In general, the regional figures reflect the Scotland-wide results:
1-3 nights: 20.5%
4-7 nights: 35.5%
8-14 nights: 30%
15+ nights: 14%
