Seasonal spread of domestic visitors to Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, 2017
This data is drawn from the Great Britain Tourism Survey, a national consumer survey measuring the volume and value of domestic overnight tourism trips taken by residents in Great Britain.
Domestic Tourism in the region in 2017 was fairly equally spread across the quarters, demonstrating the region's ability to attract visitors outwith the shoulder months.
The figures for Scotland as a whole are:
January - March: 19%
April - June: 26%
July - September: 31%
October - December: 24%
