    This line graph presents Domestic Visitor Spend from 2011 to 2017 and is based on data drawn from the Great Britain Tourism Survey, a national consumer survey measuring the volume and value of domestic overnight tourism trips taken by residents in Great Britain. The figures represent 3-year rolling averages.

    The figures reveal a 2% increase in the City, a 4% increase in Aberdeenshire (excluding the City) and an overall regional increase of 3%. The spend increase is reflective of the 2017 figures for Scotland overall.
