Scotland Golf Visitor Survey 2016: Origin of Aberdeenshire respondents

The Scotland Golf Visitor Survey 2016 was undertaken by SQW and Progressive on behalf of VisitScotland and Scottish Enterprise.

When compared to the total sample (see below), it can be seen that Aberdeenshire is well below the figure for visitors from Scotland, and well above the total sample figure for golf visitors from North America. 

The base sample for Aberdeenshire is 179 respondents only, so these results must be treated with caution.

Origin of respondents for total sample:

Scotland: 50%

Rest of UK: 19%

Europe: 9%

North America: 19%

Other overseas: 2%
